Yang Yongliang 楊泳梁 (1980, China)

Yang Yongliang, indulged in traditional Chinese culture and at the same time influenced by contemporary art, is seeking his owm way in the conflict of eastern and western cultures and is deeply concerned about the faultage in Chinese traditional culture. The nine pieces shown this time are his experiment on the combination of the two cultures. The compositions are after the landscapes of Song and Ming Dynisties. The forms are patched-up modern buildings. We wonder if our traditional culture will be found only in phantoms.
